We've introduced a small new feature into the shop. With the advent of the Adventure system and then the New Rewards, we think the game will be better off if players are able to unlock missions much earlier than they could before. ![]() NEW LEVEL REQUIREMENTS TO UNLOCK MISSIONS. ![]() New players will now be introduced into the game with a quick tutorial mission that teaches the basic controls and lets them experiment a little bit with Aleph and the basic combat mechanics before jumping into action. We expect drastic changes in how quickly some missions can be resolved and we'll keep an eye on that. All missions have been rebalanced around this. ![]() This helps further differentiate all missions Aleph Gems spawn around the scenario, Players and Elite Soldiers will have to run for it if they want the Aleph. Players with 1 Aleph gem used to drop 2 Aleph gems when killed. Elite Soldiers and Players do not drop Aleph gems upon death unless they had Aleph in the first place. Orders can be given or canceled anytime by the Antagonist, even while being dead and waiting for respawn.Īs the third installment of this Aleph remake, we've removed the "invisible" presence of Aleph in Players and Elite Soldiers and made Aleph to appear physically on the map instead. Available orders are can be either generic (available in all missions) or mission-related. Antagonists have now their own communication menu to give orders to up to three AI soldiers. This is a huge change for the Antagonist and Raider experiences, hop on the game and experience it by yourself! It's just a matter of when the servers shut down and my money is wasted for good.Historically one of the most requested new features, Antagonist orders are here, bringing a new dimension for players to master. Many of us have had well over 20 years gaming and have seen this all before. Listen to the smaller community (Steam) because many of us aren't a bunch of 12 year olds ranting. While I don't expect to agree with every change in the game, I think the developers should take a good hard look at what makes other games stand the test of time. Spacelords had my interest for quite some time but after all the changes to many things that weren't necessary, as well as complicating existing ones, I deleted the game. See you on the Broken Planet! The steam community is small because PC gamers are a bit more selective, usually older and expect more (or at least I do). It is true that the Steam community is not very big, but the crossplay allows to play with console players, where there are the biggest communities. ![]() Originally posted by TENKA:Hi! The game has a really healthy community, you can join the Discord channel and find players to play with (). It's going on 3 years now and the last new campaign was like summer 2018 ( I believe? ). They really should have invested more time into the story. So imo it seems like steam chart’s numbers may be representative of what’s happening on all platforms, either way, I can see someone arguing for it being the same as always, but I don’t think it can be argued that the playerbase is bigger, so all those unnecessary changes to the core gameplay were a wasted effort, development time that could have been invested on new missions/campaigns, a continuation of the story, that, a PVE mode and private matches were the main three things this game needed imo. I guess it doesn’t make much of a difference because of crossplay, but nowadays any raiders gaming I sparsely do, is on a console smurf account and queue times have been getting gradually worse, for example I still haven’t unlocked all missions on said smurf and the last 2 I have unlocked I’ve had to do solo, cause the matchmaking just gave up… only way of finding full matches is by selecting all missions, even then that doesn’t guarantee a full group and from my experience it still takes longer than it did months ago.
